The control head is fixed to the boat's instrument panel with two 4mm threaded screws of suitable length, not provided.Eminently suitable as a replacement for a faulty ST50 Tridata or speed and depth instruments. This Tridata control head is a master unit and can also be set into repeater mode if wanted to be used in a second station location as part of a SeaTalk network, perhaps at the chart table or in the cockpit. Please see the other instruments removed from our boat listed separately. Comes with Handbook, a power cable and a sun cover. The Tridata will require to be connected to suitable depth and speed transducers (not included as were retained in the hull) in order to function. It is in full working order with clear display.See photos for general external condition and showing all that is included. Autohelm ST50 plus TRIDATA headThis Tridata was recently removed from our boat as we have updated with a complete new network of instruments. Numero oggetto: 223414947542 Autohelm ST50 Tridata. In addition, I've tested the unit for RF emissions (Captain) - sounds very star trek: I simply tuned my old Hacker Hunter to Radio 4 LW, and could hear the interference emitted by the instrument as it generated echo-location pulses (!), which obviously aren't getting to the either transducer.Luogo in cui si trova l'oggetto: Eastleigh, GB, I've tried two different transducers with no joy, and I'm now wondering if I made a mistake fitting the replacement tail. Some of you has asked for a solution for the wrong temperature shown in the display on the Raymarine tridat. The speed, log and sea temperature side of the instrument now functions as it should, however I can't get any sense out of the echo sounder side. It is winter in Denmark, cold weather with snow. The reason why I ask is that when I bought my Nic 30, she was fitted with a mutilated Tridata unit as a chart table repeater, although I don't know if it worked as the way it was wired was strange to say the least !Īnyway, when I removed it, I discovered that the transducer and log tails had had their plugs cut off a visit to the very helpful people at Raymarine's service desk soon rectified that - they supplied me with two replacement tails with original plugs, which I duly fitted. or indeed does anyone have one that's unmolested but dead ? Does anyone have an ST50 or ST50+ Tridata unit in bits please ?.
